Lexus has finally built a family SUV that’s not just quiet and comfortable but genuinely fun to drive. I spent a complete week with the 2025 TX 500h, and it has surprised me by how powerful, smooth, and smart it really is. This one changed how I look at luxury hybrids.

If you think Lexus only makes calm and quiet cars, the 2025 Lexus TX 500h will surprise you. It’s comfortable and classy like every Lexus, but it also has exceptional performance and personality.

The TX 500h uses a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with two electric motors. Together, they make 366 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. That means it has got quick acceleration, easy transitions, and smooth performance in every drive. The six-speed automatic transmission keeps things simple and responsive, and all power runs through it. It doesn’t hunt for gears or feel sluggish like some other hybrids.

The TX 500h feels really confident and composed on the road. The DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system and Dynamic Rear Steering make it surprisingly agile for its size. It handles corners smoothly, maintains stability on highways, and feels smaller than its appearance. No matter if you’re on city roads or on winding roads, the control of the TX 500h is exceptional.

Moreover, the cabin feels premium and modern. It has the F SPORT seats, which are extremely soft and supportive. The materials of the seats look and feel expensive. The 14-inch touchscreen is sharp, fast, and easy to use. It also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Fuel economy is also amazing, with around 27 MPG combined. There’s also plenty of space for families. It has roomy seating and a big cargo area for your luggage or groceries. Overall, the 2025 Lexus TX 500h is the perfect combination of power, comfort, and practicality.
