“You’re much more attractive with your mouth shut!”
A city-sized spaceship looking for a new planet to call home is taken over by its chief security officer and his men. They’re tired of bumming around space, so they’re planning on selling the rest of the crew to space pirates as slaves and taking the ship to go do something fun. The only ones who can stop them are a toe-headed star pilot and a scientist with a fondness for spandex. Also there are psychic alien ladies, but they don’t really do a whole lot.

  • The protagonist, David Ryder, is played by Reb Brown, who is known to his fans as the greatest action screamer in B-movie history.
  • Any scenes involving the psychic alien ladies were actually added on after the movie was finished, since the initial runtime was too short. No wonder they don’t add anything.

“You cannot be our organist. In conscience, I must ask you to resign.”
A young woman is driving around with friends when their car flies off a bridge. They all die, but she’s fine. Years later, she comes to a small town to play a pipe organ for a church, where she’s hounded by the specter of some random guy with big eye bags. Well, less “hounded” and more “mildly inconvenienced;” the specter just kinda… shows up a few times and she spazzes out. Spooky!

  • After seeing this movie, leading lady Candace Hilligoss’ agent quit on her. That had to be disheartening, considering this was her first role.
  • This was the only movie ever directed by Herk Harvey. In a surprising good guy move, he actually waived any earnings from the film to keep it under budget. Granted, it’s not like he would’ve made much, but still, good guy move.
