The Farbio GTS 350 Is Not Your Daily Sports Car

The Farbio GTS first came to the scene in 2002. Back then, it was known and lived as the Farboud GT before the company changed hands. In those early days, it was distinguished for its in-board suspension and power came from a twin-turbo Audi V6 engine.

After a period of silence and a lot of work behind the scenes, it was put into the market at the beginning of 2008. The Farbio GTS offered customers a trio option for engines which includes the GTS 260, 350 and 400.

The GTS 350 and 400 were powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter Ford V6 engine, plucked from a Ford V6 Mustang. On the GTS 400 was an engine producing 384 hp and able to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.

The top speed was capped at 175 mph. It is a mid-engine sports car and power is finely distributed to both ends.

The exterior design doesn’t a breath of anything extraordinary but still tries to curve a style of its own. In another life, however, it might have been a McLaren F1.

It features an angular slanting windscreen that is quite big. It is a simple car yet very practical inside out. All body panels are made of carbon fiber and well-crafted on the tubular steel chassis making it much stronger.

Whereas the Farbio GTS 350 didn’t come to write an entirely new story, it was able to carve a niche for itself and managed to look marvelous. Nothing much has updated about the Farbio GTS350 for a while though but it would be great news to hear from them.
