If you’ve been saving up for a brand-new Porsche 911, here’s some news that might make you pause. The German automaker has announced that it has once again increased the prices of all models, and the surprising thing is that it’s the second hike in just four months. One vehicle that has got the most prominent jump is the base 911 Carrera. Its price now starts at $134,650 (the delivery and handling fees are included). That’s a $4,700 jump.
The previous price increase was connected to the remarkable changes in the 2026 model. However, this time, the automaker says it’s not due to new features or updates. Instead, market conditions are being blamed for the price hike. While Porsche didn’t get into specifications, it’s now clear that economic conditions are playing a role.
“With our customers front of mind, we keep a regular watch on market conditions, absorbing costs where we can and making adjustments only when it’s absolutely necessary to do so,” Frank Wiesmann, a spokesperson for Porsche, explained. “Recently, an adjustment of between 2.3 and 3.6 percent was determined to be required. This is a routine step that is being communicated to our dealers and to affected customers.”
The following are the current and previous prices for each base model in the Porsche lineup:

2026 Cayenne | $91,950 | $88,795 | 3.6% |
2025 718 Cayman | $77,395 | $74,795 | 3.5% |

No one can say when there will be the next price hike happen, but one thing is for sure: prices of Porsche rarely drops. So, if you’ve been planning to buy a brand-new Porsche, it’s better not to wait too long.
