#6: Dream Car 123

I could see a car shaped like a Sphinx, but a pyramid? Well, inventor Greg Zanis made it happen, and it’s all electric. This pointy little tank can travel about 240 miles at 40 MPH on a 3.5 hour charge.

Interestingly, Zanis also built a special garage for the 123 allowing it to charge from solar and wind energy. Not bad for a suburban inventor.

#5: ETV Electric Supercar

If space aliens drove cars, they might look something like the ETV. That’s no accident; “ETV” stands for “extra-terrestrial vehicle.”

Mike Vetter, an entrepreneur from Micco, Florida, designed the ETV with the intent to give riders something completely and utterly unique. It certainly got that down, though perhaps at the cost of practicality. But hey, what’s practicality in the face of the coolness factor?
