Bentley has just revealed its freshest version of its winged “B” trademark badge. This latest logo design is the fifth update of the Bentley in its 106-year history. The revamped logo is more streamlined, cleaner, and sharper than its predecessors. Bentley’s new logo loses some feathers under the letter B, and it has got a new border surrounding both wings.
At the heart of this logo revamp is a bold new design direction under the leadership of Robin Page, who has been Bentley’s Director of Design since 2023. A small in-house team within Bentley participated in a design competition which was held inside the company. The top leadership selected the concept produced by interior designer Young Nam.
Bentley’s new logo is set to debut during the concept reveal on July 8. This debut will be alongside the inauguration of Bentley’s Design Studio in Crewe, England.
According to Bentley, this latest design is dramatic and more, and it draws inspiration from the sharp wings of a peregrine falcon. On the other hand, the previous versions of Bentley’s logo were inspired by softer birds. As Bentley intends to electrify and modernize, the new logo establishes the vision: ‘heritage united with next-gen craftsmanship.
Bentley will first place its new logo on a concept car that will be revealed by the company on July 8. Currently, the automaker hasn’t disclosed other information about the concept car yet. However, we won’t have to wait too long to see what’s coming.
