#15: 1995 Ford Scorpio

The only thing that’s cool about this car is the name and that’s about it. In a car review by parkers.co.uk they say that the pros are reliability and affordable luxury but the con is styling.

The Scorpio model targeted UK buyers but the Americanized style was not well-received in the UK. The shifting buying patterns in the executive car market was the demise of the Scorpio.

The UK maintains a certain standard for its vehicles. If this next car is any indication, that standard isn’t always consistent.

#14: 1982 Morris Ital

This car is blander than vanilla but sold reasonably well in the UK offering low running costs with a competitive asking price. Though Morris saw some success with this model, it wasn’t enough to save Morris from closure.

The Ital was the last car offered by Morris and was voted as the second “worst British car ever” in a survey conducted by The Sun in 2008. Though Morris production may have failed they still have fans with Morris Car Clubs.

At the very least, the Ital had a couple of upshots going for it. It certainly wasn’t canned in two years like our next contestant.
