This crazy series follows “GLOW” a.k.a. The Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling which is based on the original TV Show “Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling” that aired in the late 1980s. The series follows the personal relationships with the members of the “GLOW” team and their rise to fame being one of the first all-women wrestling programs on television.

  • The actress playing the character Tamee/Welfare Queen, Kia Stevens, is the only cast member that is a professional wrestler. She formerly wrestled under the stage name Awesome Kong or Amazing Kong, her stage name under the WWE was Kharma.
  • Brooke Hogan, the daughter of legendary WWE wrestler from the 80s and 90s, Hulk Hogan, made a cameo in “GLOW” as the broker who rents the ring out for the first major wrestling venue.
