When the performance car company Dodge celebrated its centenary anniversary a few years ago, the big news was two special edition vehicles: the Charger and the Challenger. As expected, they turned out to be exceptional cars in many ways.
The Challenger for the 100th Anniversary, for instance, was distinguishable because of its color scheme. With this car, Dodge introduced completely new color shades that were exclusive to this car.
The most outstanding was the High Octane Red pearl for the exterior. But there was a litany of several others such as Phantom Black Tri-Coat, Billet Silver, Header Orange among others.
With a set of thick 20-by-8-inch, clean five-spoke aluminum wheels, it is not only conspicuous from a distance but also a precious pearl to posses. On the front-fender, the “Dodge Est. 1914” badge is instinctively attached as well as the Dodge “100” badge on the wheel center caps.
The Charger shared several related characteristics including the Uconnect infotainment system that comes with a plausibly sized 8.4-inch touch screen. However, it is the Charger 100th Anniversary Edition that gets away with the standard a 10-speaker, 552-watt Beats audio system while the Challenger 100th Anniversary Edition takes home the seven-speaker Boston Acoustics audio system.
