Here’s A Daring Devil: The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon

You’ve Not Seen Such Crazy Drags In Quite A Long Time

The 1960s running down to the early 1970s saw creative and accelerated development in car sporting manufacturing. There were lots of special versions loaded with muscular juice to help them win street races.

Most of them became notoriously rowdy and hardly became street-legal. In the years that followed, some sanity was restored with the likes of Ford Shelby GT 500 and GT 350 as well as the Camaro ZL1 and Z/28 taking reigns.

The coming of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat in 2015 marked a new beginning for Dodge styling. With a monumental 707 hp and an 11.7-second sprint to a quarter mile, good tidings were coming. But that has been a long time and things have changed over time. Thus, the coming of the Dodge Demon works to stir things quite rather significantly.

The Demon carries a whopping 840bhp and pulls an astonishing 770lb ft of torque. It is loaded with top-layer crazy drag tech to have ever been put on a production car.

Oh, and it can do the wheelies too. This car is claimed to be 200 pounds lighter than the Hellcat.
It sounds dangerous enough to combine such power, less weight, and incredible grip on such a daring car.

Dodge seems to be in a hurry to test some new waters and the Demon is its chosen lab equipment.
