Switzerland may not be home to the most outstanding supercars in the world but they take pride in having at least one of their own, very much made at home.

It is the crafty work of Beck Engineering&Composits Gmbh. This company uses the motto: “we start at the point where others have already given up.” This should be motivation enough to build something amazing and extraordinary.

They named it the Beck LM800 a couple of years ago. The low lying sterling vehicle has a VB turbocharged engine taking in 4.2 liters. It produces 650 hp with a 7-speed semi-sequential gearbox.

How the Swiss were able to make a vehicle weight just 900 kg must be of interest to automakers of anywhere in the world. It is however notable that this was done by attaching using generous amounts of light metals including aluminum, magnesium, titanium. A host of modern plastic and composite materials also got a chance on the Beck LM 800.

Some cool features have also found their way onto the Beck LM 800, utilizing modern technology with a sense of precision. In fact, the car borrows some acts from Formula 1 but also manages to keep the driver modernly at par. It begins with keyless access to the interior.

Once inside you, a set of leather seats give comfort and you also enjoy satellite navigation. You can also have your windows powered at a cost as it would be an LCD screen. There is also a chance to have additional airbags.
