The Custom Made Aston Martin Supercar Dubbed Vengeance
This Supercar Is Here For Vengeance
Afzal Khan runs a design house known as Kahn Design based on Bradford. This alone should tell you that he knows cars pretty well.
But it is what he did on a car he eventually dubbed Vengeance that caught out attention. It was an Aston Martin that bothered him since 2006. The other inspiration from which Afzal draw courage was the blockbuster “The Silence Of The Lambs.”
He says, “I took inspiration from the mask of Hannibal Lecter. The way the grill looks is like the mouth of Hannibal Lecter. The car has very animalistic looks to it, the vents, the haunches at the back, the grill at the front, the way it sits, the way it looks at you.”
While the exterior was modeled on the Vanquish the internal components were taken from the DB9. This one-of-a-kind supercar is fitted with a 6.0-liter V-12 engine, the same engine as the DB9. The car can do 0-60 mph in just over four seconds and has an output of 510 horsepower.
There is plenty of workmanship that has gone into this car as Afzal acknowledges, “What you see here isn’t just an average car that 50 designers have worked on and engineered – this car is through and through my ultimate dream.”
In the end, it comes out as work that was created through passion by a man who has loved cars all his life. “Since a very young age, I’ve loved Aston Martins. There’s something very quintessentially British about the cars. My favorite out of all of them is the Aston Martin Vanquish.”
