Here Is One Big and Well-Tuned Car From France

In the mid-1990s, the French Aixam Group created a car named the Mega Track. Only five examples of this crazily built off-roader were built. They had chosen a good name, calling it the Mega Track for it was indeed mega in a number of ways.

Under the hood was a 6.0-liter Mercedes-Benz V12 engine that oozed 400 HP. It was a mid-engine for better weight distribution. The suspension was also well advanced for 8-inches of ground clearance.

This suspension could also increase to 13-inches. This was a huge car by all standard doing up to 5,000 pounds. In spite of this, it still did zero to sixty sprint in an incredible 5.4 seconds and managed a top speed of 155 mph.

With a complex all-wheel-drive system and amazing weight distribution tactics, the track became a one-of-a-kind car that isn’t shy to show off. The 90 inches wheel-to-wheel width is also something to write home about.

This car has a 2+2 seat arrangement with two bucket seats placed behind the driver and front passenger. The vehicle sits quite low to the ground in spite of its amazing weight.

The French are masters of innovations and have given the world some of the most iconic creations. The Mega Track is yet another addition that the automotive world will not forget any time soon.
