The story of Vector Motors may not resonate well with several modern-day car enthusiasts, especially the much younger generation. In its heydays late in the 80s and 90S, Vector produced a bunch of highly decorated performance cars that are still amazing today.

Vector cars utilized GM-sourced, mid-mounted engines that consumed 6.0-lite. Among them was a twin-turbo aluminum V8 that produced 625 horsepower or 466 kilowatts. The transmission choice was a three-speed automatic that sent power to the rear wheels.

The claimed specs at the time indicated the V8 could hit 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in 4.2 seconds, which was lightning quick by the standards of the early 1990s.
