A New Lamborghini Few-Off Roadster Could Debut at Imola in May 2026
Something is brewing in Sant’Agata Bolognese. And if the rumors are right, May 2026 is going to be a very good month for supercar fans.
Lamborghini recently put out a press release celebrating its history of Few-Off Roadsters. Sounds normal, right? Except they did it just days after announcing Lamborghini Arena 2026, a two-day brand festival at the legendary Imola Circuit on May 9 and 10.
Connect the dots and the picture becomes pretty clear. A new open-top beast is coming.
It’s probably the Fenomeno Roadster.
Last year, Lamborghini stunned the world with the Fenomeno, a jaw-dropping few-off coupe based on the Revuelto. Only 29 units are produced at a popping price of $3.5 million each. Now, well-placed sources are pointing to an open-top version of the Fenomeno Roadster making its world debut at Imola.
This isn’t surprising if you know Lamborghini’s playbook. They’ve done it multiple times before.

The Reventón got a roadster. So did the Veneno, the Centenario, and the Sián FKP 37. Every time Lamborghini builds a coupe few-off, an open-top version eventually follows. It’s almost a tradition at this point.
The Fenomeno Roadster is expected to carry over the same V12 hybrid powertrain from the coupe, tuned to produce 1,065 horsepower and 793 lb-ft of torque. That would make it the most powerful open-top car Lamborghini has ever built. Let that sink in for a second.
The powertrain pairs a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors and a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery, good for about 12.4 miles of all-electric range. Nobody buying this car is going to be hypermiling through a shopping mall car park. But it’s a nice party trick.
The real party, of course, happens when you hit the throttle and the V12 screams wide open behind your head with no roof between you and the noise.
If you thought 29 units were rare, the roadster will likely be even more limited. Historically, Lamborghini has always produced fewer open-top few-offs than coupes.
The styling is expected to mirror the coupe’s two-tone exterior design closely. Inside, the cabin will be carried over from the Revuelto, which means a driver-focused, tech-laden cockpit that somehow manages to feel futuristic and purposeful at the same time.
What makes few-off roadsters so special isn’t just the exclusivity or the horsepower. It’s the lineage. It goes all the way back to the 1968 Miura Roadster, the original that started it all. The car that, arguably, invented the modern supercar.
Every open-top few-off since has carried that DNA forward. The Fenomeno Roadster will be the latest chapter in that story. And if everything falls into place on the weekend of May 9 and 10, a very lucky few will be sitting in the Imola grandstands when that story gets a new page.
The rest of us will be watching online with the volume turned all the way up.
There’s also a major celebration of the Miura’s 60th anniversary, with a special Polo Storico tour arriving on May 9. And rumor has it Lamborghini is planning a Revuelto Miura Edition reveal for August, too.
But the Fenomeno Roadster is the headline now.
