Brabus Bodo Roadster Set to Surface at Pebble Beach on August 14
Brabus is preparing to reveal a version of its Bodo hypercar that has stayed almost completely hidden until now.
According to reports, Brabus will bring an open-top version of the Bodo to Monterey Car Week, with a reveal expected on August 14. Unlike most upcoming supercars, this one has not leaked. There are no spy shots, no test-mule sightings, and no teaser from Brabus itself confirming the car by name. For a company whose last flagship leaked online well before its official debut, that level of secrecy is unusual.
A Quick Recap On the Bodo
Brabus introduced the standard Bodo in May 2026 at FuoriConcorso on Lake Como, Italy. The car is a tribute to company founder Bodo Buschmann, built as a coachbuilt 2+2 grand tourer with a fully bespoke carbon fiber body over an Aston Martin Vanquish chassis.
Power comes from a hand-built 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 tuned to 1,000 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Brabus is building just 77 units, a reference to 1977, the year the company was founded, with prices starting at 1 million euros before tax. The first customer car was delivered in Dubai earlier this month.
Bodo Roadster
Reports suggest the open-top Bodo will use the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante as its base rather than the standard coupe. That would carry over the coupe’s long hood, low-set grille and stretched rear section, now built around a folding or removable top.
The cabin is also expected to closely follow the coupe, which uses a heavily reworked version of the Aston Martin interior beneath its custom trim. Power should stay the same: the same 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 producing 1,000 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque.
Brabus has not confirmed pricing for the roadster. Convertible versions of limited-edition cars like this one typically cost more than their coupe counterparts, so expect the open-top Bodo to sit above the coupe’s 1 million euro starting point.

Neither announcement names the roadster directly, but the dates match what The Supercar Blog is reporting. If accurate, this would be the second major unveiling for the Bodo nameplate in under a year, and the first hint that Brabus plans to expand the model beyond a single body style.
