The All-New Range Rover Evoque Has Significant Upgrades

Looks Remain Unchanged But The Tech Is Right On Time

Is there an automaker these days making machines without great technology? I guess not.

While the 2020 Range Rover Evoque wouldn’t be distinguished from previous models on looks alone, it still wears a lot of admirable features worth checking out.

Land Rover has used a new mixed-metal Premium Transverse Architecture, to build this SUV. There is a lot of additional space. Passengers at the back will enjoy six percent space increment (from 610 liters to 1,430 liters when the rear seats are folded).

A very commendable approach is the use of natural and recycled materials for each new Evoque, as a deliberate effort in caring for the environment. It takes up to 72.8 pounds (33 kilograms) of natural and recycled materials to produce a single Evoque.

Customers of the 2020 Evoque will enjoy the standard all-wheel drive. All new Evoques will also come with Land Rovers Terrain Response system with six drive modes:General, Eco, Sand, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, and Auto.

Functional and practical cameras are an important part of modern driving. The 2020 Evoque has entrenched a driving mirror that can be switched to show exactly what a video camera attached behind the Evoque might reveal.

The Evoque still has some journey to make before the official launch. More details are expected in forthcoming auto shows with the Chicago auto show in February 2019 is a major focus for this British traditionalist.
