1200 horsepower and dragon design
Someone posed an interesting question recently: Do we really need new supercar manufacturers? Of course, we do. The automotive industry is a creative space and one has no business limiting how creative folks can get.
So we surely need just as many as there can be. After all, such kind of liberalization does harm.
But the supercar space is also a difficult field to enter and newbies find it hard to cut a niche let alone bring around brands that can ably compete with established marques. Besides, the supercar market is not for the mass market passe, but for folks that have lots of extra cash to spare on a car that massages the ego rather than does the moving work.
Anyway, let’s shelve those thoughts and focus on yet another new supercar dubbed the Ajlani Drakuma, manufactured by Ajlani Motors all the way UAE. It made its debut at the Dubai International Motor Show and we can assure you it made quite a marvelous site for attendees.
At this juncture, there is too in terms of this car’s specifications and the model that was represented is just a prototype. The novice car maker, however, says that its car will carry a 1200-horsepower engine. The prospective engine is a V8 Biturbo sitting within the wheelbase just behind the cockpit.
This is more of an ambitious promise so far than actual work and so we eagerly wait to see how things turn out in the coming days.
