With 830 horsepower this is something to watch closely

When it comes to amazing power, performance, and serene design, Lamborghini never shies away. But competition has been steady and on the rise, with the likes of Koinesseg and Aston Martin bring around some crazy competition.

Lamborghini is not sitting pretty and has hinted a powerful track-only V12 Vision Gran Turismo hypercar to be unveiled sometimes in 2020. As scarce as details on this car are at the moment, Lamborghini stated in a press release that it would be powered 6.5-liter V12 used in the Aventador and other limited-edition models.

It will gladly produce 830 horsepower. This raises a lot of speculation, given that Lamborghini has already indicated that the Aventador’s successor is due in 2022 and is planned to carry a hybrid powertrain.

It is also known that the new supercar car a large rear wing, roof air scoop, and a racing-style hood featuring air intact ducts. The chassis is expected to be carbon fiber monocoque, mated to an aluminum front frame and a steel cage-like structure for the engine. The choose transmission for the racing-style gearbox is a six-speed sequential Xtrac transmission.
