The 2019 Porsche Cayenne Is Steaming Hot

The Porsche Cayenne Is Truly Ready To Show Classy Things

There are lots of things to say about the 2019 Porsche Cayenne, yet the new third-generation Cayenne still looks a lot like previous Cayennes. Start with its expansive nose, the gaping air intake and the mildly front fenders.

Then there is the bumpy hood, that is characteristic of Cayennes. Perhaps a distinguishing factor though is that this car is significantly lower and narrower without a radical change to its general formular

The heart of the new Cayenne E-Hybrid plug-in is its powertrain. It is now in a rather familiar formula.

The base Porsche Cayenee carries a 3.0-liter single-turbo V-6 engine producing an epic 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. This is nicely paired to an automatic torque converter that shifts to eight-speed and sends powers to all four wheels.

It incorporates Porsche’s Traction Management all-wheel-drive system. Then there is the mind disturbing 440hp Cayenne S and the 550-HP that uses a V-8 powered Cayenne Turbo

Porsche has also introduced something else worth mentioning which is 134-hp AC motor meant to handle the engine starts. This leaves the normal 12-volt electronic systems such as engine operation and infotainment in the hands of the high-voltage battery that executes its mandate through an inverter.

The 2019 Porsche Cayenne revs from 0-60 mph in a 5.9 seconds. For a vehicle in its class, it is rather well priced for competitive performance
