The Devon GTX stood out and received just as much acclaim as it deserved. It utilized a unique and unconventional mix of several important technologies to become an incredibly great machine of modern times.
The carbon fiber superstructure, a sweeping architectural surface and lots of captivating features make this car a sight to behold. According to its creators, it features aircraft-quality all-round carbon fiber to enhance its ultra-performance capability.
Riding a massive 8.4-liter V-10, it produces 650 horsepower at 6,100 rpm. There is input from a team that of talented folks that include a chap named Swede Daniel Paulin, who formerly worked for Ford of Europe and is a graduate of the Art Center in Pasadena, California.
Paulin said that his engagement with Devon GTX is, “I wanted to do something new, but with classic proportions. I wanted to have quite a voluptuous surface broken up with dynamic graphics.” To his credit, he got pretty much of what he wanted.
You will quickly notice that its gullwing doors are unusually large and shaped outrageously. They are also hinged almost on top of the windshield and almost touch the edges of the hood. It is a masterpiece of work and this is well exemplified.
The designers gave this car a more compact and muscular look although the wheelbase is 78.8-inch. Some cars are content to just make small milestones but the Devon GTX went a step further to be a truly great and practical car.
