Only Were Made And Given Super Powers As A Privilege

The Maserati MC12 Corsa will need you to have quite some deep pockets. Deep enough to fork out $2.7 million.

Maserati built this car for homologation purposes and laid it upon the MC12 GT1 race car, which in its own rights booked a place when it won the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturers Cup. In total,15 of the MC12 were to be made for selected customers, although an extra three models were made for testing and publicity purposes.

Each of them carried a “Blue Victory,” paint job although customers were handed the option to have it finished in other colors. Whereas their road car pulls out a massive 625-hp MC12, the track-only Corsa takes issues to the 755 horses mark spilled from the naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 gifted from a Ferrari Enzo.

It is a relatively light car with its dry weight placed at just 1,150 kg((2,535 pounds). As such, it is right to see awesome performance abilities on this car.

We always get amused and pleased when automakers break some rules and challenge their own records. With this one, Maserati pushed the borders a little further north to the amusement of car lovers.

The price is, of course, the first indicator that this not your ordinary supercar but one that hands you the pride to get a little sportier and experimental. It is amazingly good in the outside just as its powerful engine happens to be.
