There are lots of sensible goodies on the Tavascan

The Cupra Tavascan concept by Volkswagen is somewhat of ambitious and breathtaking machinery. It is a crossover SUV that the company describes as a “sports coupe.”

It is good-looking, competitive and ready to do everything very differently, even if it follows the ongoing electrification craze. This car has been granted a 77-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, enough to help it cruise 280 miles of range based on a single charge.

The brand also shared the crossover rides on Volkswagen’s MEB electric-car platform, gifting it a lot of fancy specifications. It also gets two electric motors that make 302 horsepower. With this, the Tavascan will sprint from 0-62 mph in less than 6.5 seconds.

According to Cupra, this car minimizes air resistance through the design. For instance, there are 22-inch turbine wheels, signaling sporting ability and the urge to cruise where others dare not.

Each of the several air vents is meant to breath more into this car, either to give it more fresh air or to cool off the battery. You cannot fail to take note of the stylish and sharp LED headlights and a taillight bar that spans the width of the rear.

An inside is equally a place of serenity, characterized by a mix of leather, carbon and Alcantara materials. The company says that the design of the dashboard emphasizes a sense of space.

There is also a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 13-inch infotainment display hatched in the middle of the center stack. This is an eddy car that knows its stuff and ready to counter competition aggressively.
