Alfa Romeo Range B-Tech: The Black Star That Shines So Bright

This Is Creativity On A Higher Level

On Alfa Romeo’s website, this catchy phrase stands boldly at the top so vivid so that you can’t miss it: “A Star Shines Even When It’s Dark.”

Of course,it is a rather obvious statement in reality, for stars actually shine best when its dark. This notwithstanding, the statement captures the competitiveness of the Alfa Romeo Range B-tech so well for it is indeed a star among their peers.

Its black theme motif is perhaps the reason why the Italian manufacturer dimmed it right to emphasize its shining abilities. If you think it’s not, let it be known to you that it delivers 600 and 700 horsepower on tap from 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 in the Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio.

This B-tech range(or Black-tech range) features three trims namely; the Giulia, Stelvio, and Giulietta. From the technological point of view, there are some desirable niceties such as the Adaptive Cruise Control, Alfa Connect infotainment with 8.8-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, DAB radio, Bi-xenon headlights with washers and Alfa Connected Services.

It also comes with a rear-view camera, parking sensors, USB and HDMI inputs, and Uconnect Live apps. Another interesting addition is the Alfa Romeo connected service suite, which includes e-call and b-call (basically meant for quick response in case of a breakdown or emergency situation).

It also has vehicle conditions management/monitoring and GPS functions, all managed through the Alfa Connect smartphone app. The B-tech range is so named because it is lined with a black theme inside-out.

Like the rest of the range, Alfa Romeo also plans to electrify its powertrain options in the very near future. In fact around five plug-in hybrid models are in the pipeline, along with Level 2 and Level 3 semi-autonomous driving technology.
