Did You Ever See The $2 Million Laraki Epitome From Morocco?
The Supercar Made by A Man who Makes Yachts
Abdesslam Laraki, a Morrocan yacht builder decided to change tune from water to land for a while. His focus was the supercar he named Laraki Epitome and introduced to the world in 2013 at the Pebble Beach.
The Laraki Epitome is indeed the hallmark of exclusivity and exotic looks. It is simply not like anything you have seen in recent years. Even though it’s been a couple of years since any further developments were heard of on this car but we will look at it just as it was back then.
A high-riding observation on the first look at the Laraki Epitome is its quest for fresh air from the environment. Lots of air slashes take the bulk of the Epitome’s nose and ultimately define the grille’s shape.
It is said to have the C6 Corvette V8 engine that is twin turbocharged able to produce upwards of 1,200 horsepower. It has two gas tanks and if both are fueled, it can generate a massive 1750 horsepower.
The carbon fiber body panels make it bold and rather fleshy, the epitome shows off as aggressive and the paintwork is handsomely done with elegance. It weighs 2,800 lbs, effectively gifting its extraordinary performance powers.
Be it as it may that the Epitome never lasted long to be applauded as it deserved, the fact remains that the yacht maker had quite a huge vision of a supercar. Though there’s no much trace of what became of it, it made its mark it supercar circles.
