Only 10 Ferrari F60 America Were Ever Made, Here Is Why

It Was A Celebratory Car That Left A Footprint In America

As a toast for its 60 years presence in North America, Ferrari produced a limited edition V12 engine sports car named the F60 America. That was back in 2014 and only 10 cars from this series were made. Even then, it is a car whose memories and actions could not fade away just because years passed by and a lot of water has gone under the bridge.

This is a two-seater that carries a handsome powertrain, a 6.3-liter V12 engine. It does as much as 8,700 rpm, pulls a prime 730bho and 509pounds ft of torque. These are characteristics found in the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta but this car has several elements of its own too especially from the exterior point of view.

Staring at it from the rear, you will notice how crafty the two roll-hoops are angled forward so that what you finally have is an F12 that has been chopped off. And the twin exhausts tells of a car that is ready to blow out sounds of rebellion.

The roof is absent and the doors, wings, and nose have also been substantially restyled to avoid total resemblance with the F12 Berlinetta. It is with and for a good reason that all ten examples were sold out well before production. This is how history is written in the automobile industry.
