There Is Something To Envy On The S6 And The S7

A couple of months ago, we witnessed Audi bring around the Audi S6 and S7 for 2020 with specific specs for the European market. In the new arrangement, the powerful twin-turbo V-8 engine that had previously rolled the Audis was replaced by a turbo-diesel V-6 engine that was further boosted using a 48-volt mild hybrid system.

Diesel is however not a good option for the American market and therefore a different version is touted for the region. This version brings a twin-turbo V-6 engine that will take in 2.9-liter.

With 444 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, this is not a bad car for daily cruising and even special tasks. The American version will also be given the 48-volt hybrid system. This engine is twinned to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission that drives all four wheels.

An important development on this Audi is the brake-controlled torque vectoring. This is technology through which the speed of each individual wheel is adjusted for the best cornering abilities.

Audi hasn’t changed exterior styling for this upcoming vehicle. It is still an endearing sedan that is useful for urban cruising and undemanding country cruise. It isn’t clear when this car will hit the market, but prices are capped at a starting price of $73,900 for the Audi and $83,900 for the S7.
