This Is A Significant Update After Almost Ten Years

The 2020 Toyota 4Runner, is just around the corner. It is geared up with lot tech advances and safety kit upgrades just as a car of this era should have, both inside and on the exterior. It is a mid-size compact SUV that is good to hit the road.

One of the aspects that have been given a better tuning this time is the instrument cluster. It comes with a 4.2-inch screen placed between the dials.

It will also spot a smart key switch coupled with a push-button start. The rear backseat has been given two USB ports for the passengers therein. There is also the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity option.

Remember this is one of the longest and oldest Toyota nameplates in the modern era. The first one was unveiled in 1984.

The original 4runner had a close resemblance to a Toyota pickup and a fiberglass shell lay over the bed. There have been significant changes all long and as things stand, it sits between a mid-size SUV and compact SUV.

The changes seen on the 4Runner should out rightly attract a heavier price. However, this has been the trend with several souped-up vehicles for some time now.

For instance, the TRD Pro series has seen a price increase of up to $3,340, although it now has more stocky sport shocks as well as restyled wheels.

The 4runner was last given serious redesign back in 2010. The current recreation is therefore very well deserved and poised to place it well with a competitive edge for this decade.
