Rolls-Royce Sweptail: Extravagance At Its Best

It’s A Precious Gem, One Of A Kind, And Heavily Priced

The auto industry has several ways of making surprises and amusements. If it is not super performing vehicles, you will be faced with wonder-sounding prices, shapes, and car sizes. It is in this line of action that the bespoke Rolls-Royce Sweptail brings its ridiculous characteristics.

You might have heard by now that the Sweptail was the most expensive car on the planet when it came around in 2017. If you haven’t, hold your patience and count a whopping $13 million price tag.

This is one of the very few two-seater cars built by Rolls-Royce. It draws inspiration from the distinguished shapes of the 1930s (you can check out the vintage Rolls-Royce Boat Tail speedster and you will see some similarities in these looks.)

To make it even more distinctive, the company replaced the rear seat with a wood mid-shelf that features an illuminated glass lip. At the rear end of the cabin is a wood hat shelf, polished and inset with luggage rails and surrounded by a large teardrop-shaped glass roof.

This unique gem is heavily priced for all its outstanding characteristics. Metallic parts such as the grille are polished to a mirror look. Wooden surfaces inside the cabin are an epitome of versatility and creativity.
