Is the lovely Honda S2000 coming back?

Honda has found a perfect way of reminding us that the S2000 is undeniably one of the greatest cars around. In celebrating its 20th anniversary, the automaker plans to bring about a custom prototype that is characterized by exclusive parts that give it prerequisite updates all round.

The car is expected to come on display at the Tokyo auto salon in January. Could this be a sign that the small sporty car that does 9000-rpm will one day make a heralded comeback?

Among the immediate updates demonstrated on this car are a modernized bumper, side sills, fenders, and spoiler and all refreshed suspension system. From the photos released by Honda, it is clear that this car aims at retaining serious sporting abilities and great looks.

The mirrors and windshield surround have been painted black, and the car sits on a set of 17-inch Advan RZ2 wheels. The image further shows an interior that is barely changed, with the red bucket seats only taking some slight improvements from the ones that were originally on the S2000.

Honda also plans to have an updated audio system among several other aspects of great modern motoring. The comeback of the Honda S2000 would be quite a good way to kick off 2020.

Although the information is still scanty, Honda will do fans favor in making retaining this car with as much external gait and performance possibilities.
