The Fiat Panda 4×4 first arrived in 1983. It has since sold more than 6.5 million pieces which is quite a milestone.

And now, there are more reasons to love the Fiat Panda 4 x 4. Not only has Fiat added a four-wheel drive system to the Panda, but also special steel bash plates, black plastic bumpers and wheel-arch extensions, raised suspension, and a new electronic rear differential as well.

In a nutshell, this allows you to take the Panda 4×4 off road even more confidently. You can have the Panda in two specifications; the standard 4×4 and the new 4×4 Antarctica edition.

The latter gets a white paint job and black roof, new alloy wheels, new interior upholstery, and an optional penguin decal. Engines include a 74 bhp 1.3-liter diesel or a 84 bhp 895 cc two-cylinder TwinAir turbo petrol unit.

This car is made even more practical as it gets a decent 225-liter boot and optional 60:40 split folding rear seat. This means it would perfectly fit a small family.

There’s plenty of room for trips to the dump with the rear seats down, and enough space for two extra adults in the rear with the seats up. With 150 mm of ground clearance the Panda 4×4 can only handle off-roading to a certain extent and leave the hard work to the Jeeps and the Land Rovers.

However, it as a cool city car with muddy field-crossing capability that comes at a pocket-friendly price.
