The Raised Possibilities Of The Mazda 3

Simple And Elegant For Everyday Travel

Any automaker wouldn’t be doing justice if, for all practical reasons, if they made an update to any of their cars without putting in place important upgrades. Luckily, we haven’t seen as many cars coming afresh without real upgrades.

The 2019 Mazda 3 has one element that everyone has taken note of and is talking about wherever you look. It is the SkyActiv-X petrol engine.

It is big news because this feature gives diesel-like fuel economy through what Mazda calls Spark Controlled Compression Ignition (SCCI). With this technology, the spark plugs can operate allow the petrol engine to burn the fuel, or the engine can quietly switch over to diesel-style compression ignition.

Here it is pressure, rather than spark plugs that cause the fuel to burn, effectively improving efficiency. In the end, the 2019 Mazda 3 becomes a fuel-efficient car capable of great economic performance (very plausible for these economically challenging times).

With a six-speed manual, 155-hp 2.0-liter four engine as standard, this vehicle caters for a market segment that that can make a significant market change for Mazda. A six-speed automatic and a 2.5-liter 184-hp four are also available options.

The new Mazda 3, comes as a sedan or hatchback. There is, however, a distinction in their styling characteristics. The hatchback now assumes softer body contours shedding off its character lines. The sedan, on the other hand, gains about 3 inches in length and also gets sleeker and more elegant.

We never fail to notice the technology efforts. The 2019 Mazda 3 gains plenty of tech. More buttons are expected to go and on their behalf, a large infotainment screen for multiple purposes will be on it.

Bear in mind that this is a vehicle intruding into the space of vehicles such as the Audi A3 and Mercedes A-Class. The battle lines are drawn.
