An Unconventional Looking Car That Is Small Enough And Enviable

When the Nissan Juke launched back in 2011, little was it expected to be such a huge success story. Several years down the line, it has made a huge and significant mark for itself.The market has accepted and appreciate this hippy vehicle.

Now, the 2019 Juke that will launch in Summer 2019 promises to go a step further. Actually, it was set to for release in 2018 but this has been pushed further ahead. We thus expect more from the Juke.

In August 2018, Nissan’s global design chief, Alfonso Albaisa pointed to the expected high reaching changes expected in the Juke saying, “it doesn’t look like IMx or new Leaf, either, It’s an urban meteor with a nasty attitude.”

The next-gen Juke is expected to carry engines ranging from a three-cylinder 0.9 liter to a 1.2-liter four-cylinder producing between 90 to 115 horsepower. These are currently found on the Micra and Qashqai.

A diesel engine might also come along, one that could get as much as 110-horsepower 1.5-liter mill. Further, a four-wheel drive might also be an option.

Even with scanty details about its production, it is known that the European versions of the next Juke will continue to be produced at Nissan’s Sunderland plant. What remains to be seen, however, is whether it will still make it to the US market, considering that it performed rather poorly there over the years.
