A Binding Legacy And A Promising Future, This Is The Jeep Cherokee

44 Years Of The Jeep Cherokee And The 2019 Version Is Just As Good

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee has shed quite a lot of its old self. It has, however, been careful to retain some signature features and of course a performance that is still competitive.

The new Cherokee sheds off the six-eyed and on its part endeavors to concentrate the lighting together. The headlights are now LEDs with integrated daytime running lights, and fog lights just below.

Although the front end has been deliberately differentiated from that of the Grand Cherokee, you can still easily tell the relationship. The resemblance is quite vivid.

Then comes a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen on base models, and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The infotainment system is also faster in response as a result of faster processors.

This vehicle will drive a new 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine producing 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. There is also a 3.2 liter 271-hp and the base engine is 2.4-liter 4-cylinder.

They come with a 9-speed automatic raising the Cherokee to a good style with its competitors. With this power, the V-6 can tow up to 4,500 pounds and the new turbo-4 can pull 4,000 pounds.

The Cherokee is built with off-road performance in mind and heart. This is well articulated by the three all-wheel-drive systems. The Trailhawk version proves this.

Driving in this mode has been aptly improved through unique front and rear bumpers that enhance the approach and departure angles. With taller tires that raise the breakover angle, skid plates, and red tow hooks, the off-road experience and performance is unmatched.

Without being overly optimistic, the Cherokee is attempting to achieve more practicality on the road while enhancing its looks. The good thing is that it achieves both without much struggle.
