This Modified Rolls Royce Once Belonged To A British Aristocrat
A Powerful Rat Rod That Even Creators Were Afraid To Ride
When a Rolls Royce rolls off the production mills, it is more than confident that it will be loved and that it will impressive lots of people the world over. In the same breath, when an outstanding customizer settles down to working on remodeling an aged Rolls Royce, he is sure it will come out as a head turning, conspicuous point of town talk.
Mechanic Sam Hard from Farnham, Hampshire set down to work on a Rolls Royce that was once owned by Lord Tredegar, a British aristocrat who in his hey days was famed for his colorful lifestyle. Sam was quick to relate the lifestyle of the grand old man with some outstanding aspects that can only be found on a vehicle of this stature.
Sam said: “He had fighting kangaroos, he had flamingos in his field and even carried around a talking parrot. Apparently he used to put it down his trousers and at parties and functions it would use its claw to open the zip, pop its head out and talk to the guests.”
Together with his team, it took them three months to tweak the the Rolls Royce rat rod which is partially made out of aluminium. Carrying with it a Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 engine, their powerful creation was so scary that it took time before it could be pushed to the limit as no one on the team has the courage to risk.
Sam put it this way, “The power to weight ratio is something like a Ferrari, it’s unbelievable. You put your foot down and it’s actually quite scary because this thing is a power house.”
