This Russian Ice Car Will Literary Melt Next Spring!

This Is No Ice Sculpture And Wa Built For The Road

It is often said (and somewhat sufficiently proven) that a lot of bewildering ideas can come from Russia. After all, it is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

It’s no wonder then that they can afford to build a car whose body is all ice. This machine is a combination of so many things that you cannot place its original frame or powertrain.

However, its core base is built from an old UAZ. UAZ is a considerably influential automaker in this part of the world with its off-road, buses, and tracks. It made cars for the Soviet and other Warsaw fighters.

The maker of this car went to great troubles to achieve the end game. The reconstruction of the old rusty body brought in parts of a Suzuki Jimny from Japan, an Indian Mahindra Scorpion as well as the BAIC BJ80C from China. But the final look takes shape more or less like a Mercedes Benz G63 AMG.

As you would expect, this car has a spectacular nightlife when the LED lights come on and illuminate the transparent body. You would think you’ve had an encounter with the bioluminescent creatures from underneath the ocean, trying to impress a potential mate.

Well, this car isn’t entirely built of ice but rather ice blocks in some sort of igloo style. They used a chainsaw to cut and shape them. It completely has no windows.
