What is it about fire that makes stunts so much more interesting?

As anyone who has ever attended a classic rock concert will tell you, pyrotechnics are awesome. There’s something kind of primal about it; fire is one of the Earth’s greatest destructive forces, so to not only take control of it but make use of it in our entertainment shows our inherit mastery of the world around us. Also, it looks cool.

Fred Horal, fire dancer extraordinaire, has had a passion for dance and the pyrotechnical arts ever since he was a young lad, and when the time came to find his calling in life, it was staring him right in the face. Now he travels around the country, juggling torches, spinning poi, and performing his hypnotic dance of conflagration as a professional entertainer. He’s got a fire in his heart, and a fire in his hand. Several fires at once, usually.
