This Korean EV is a superbly great car of this decade

The competition among EVs is now on a new level. Two defining characteristics for EVs are the mile range it is able to do in a single charge, pricing, and tech features.

We are now getting to the level where what matters most to customers now is practicality and affordability. In some quarters, however, if you shed all the modern tech-savviness of EV cars, customers would still remain happy and go for them.

The Hyundai Kona seems to understand these determinant elements well enough.
Riding on a 201-hp electric that provides power to rotate front wheels is a battery pack proving 64.0-kWh. At the very least, this car is able to do 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds, raising the ability of the regular Kona by 0.2 seconds.

Electric cars get interesting when you consider the singular pedal that allows braking. The Kona is claiming 258 miles, at least 20 miles more than the Bolt EV from Chevrolet.

Active safety features are offered as standard and you also include heated front seats to this menu. Keyless ignition, 17-inch wheels, two USB chargers, and a superbly intuitive 7.0-inch touchscreen fitted with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are complete the sellable ingredients.

Hyundai seems to understand what makes car customers tick in this era. The Hyundai Kona EV is no doubt a vehicle whose performance we shall be watching as the decade rolls on.
