Lamborghini Asterion Concept That Made A Very Promising Appearance

The concept car was good enough back then and is still relevant today

Lamborghini had indicated right from the beginning that the Asterion would be a concept car. No production whatsoever. Things remained that way but the Lamborghini Asterion left a conspicuous mark on the development of ITS future cars in general.

The Asterion concept was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2014 as a plug-in hybrid. Even back then, participants agreed that the vehicle did demonstrate impressively amazing attitudes and approaches for a supercar.

The mid-mounted V10 engine plucked from the Huracan was a 5.0-liter that produced 602 bhp. It was combined with three electric motors to give a total of 897bhp. Sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in just 60 secs, this car had demonstrated some immense potential. The top speed was 199 mph.

Lamborghini teased this technology for use in its SUVs and so far we’ve seen lots of its utilization and quicker developments. It was also the company’s response to increasing CO2 legislation and it was reported that it could do 31 miles on electric-only. Perhaps Lambo wasn’t wrong describing it as “a model that could be realistically produced today, using technologies currently available.”

In about five years, positive developments have been made. Although there is very little possibility that Lamborghini would bring this concept back, it would still amaze its customers overwhelmingly if it found its way to production.
