Technology Has Taken The Luxurious Sedan BMW 550i A Notch Higher

The Tech Behind The BMW 550i

The car manufacturing industry gives players the opportunity to play around with products and ideas both new and old. BMW is playing a game of cards with one of the products it has tried to keep fresh for along time, the BMW 550i.

As other rivals work to catch up to BMW’s 5-series in performance and handling, BMW has switched gears and decided to work towards making it a luxury-oriented approach with this mid-size sedan. In this one,you can now enjoy a rather posh interior, plenty of people and cargo space, and a range of efficient and strong-performing engines.

The 2019 model of this awesome sedan is even more souped up with several updates being harnessed. Blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, front and rear parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic alert are all now standard. Apple CarPlay is also standard but requires an annual subscription after the first year of ownership.

The optional head-up display, a wireless smartphone charging pad, a self-parking feature, and onboard Wi-Fi hotspot are now part of the Premium package; a new Convenience package includes niceties such as a power-operated trunk lid, passive entry, SiriusXM satellite radio, and heated front seats. The Executive package now includes soft-close doors, manual side-window shades, adaptive headlamps, automatic high-beams, and a digital gauge display.

The luxurious packs in this car is not only a major boost to its entire look but something that will place it very competitively.
