A WW2 Tank Has Been Made Into An Amazing Rat Rod

This One Will Amuse You: Sit Back And Have A Look

Our mission is to bring you the up to speed and upgrade you knowledge on the relationship between man and cars from all dimensions. In this line of duty, we sometimes come across extremely outrageous ideas that make us question just how much man is ready and willing to stretch his brain to come up with some of these creations.

We never brand any single creation as the epitome of man’s end of thinking capacity for sooner or later, we are always certain that our ground will be challenged. Rat rods are some of the ideas that make us go wild for they come not only to challenge what we know but to also to put us on a test of faith.

Shawn Cormier, from Ontario, Canada, spent five years building a vehicle that sets him way above his fellow car customers. The hot rod is constructed around the base of a World War II brand gun cure from 1944, with a Chevy drive train, a small block Chevy turbo 350 trim mission and a standard four gear in the back and the top part of the cab is a 1947 Mercury truck.

He named it the Tankenstein following closely with the Frankenstein’s monster footsteps. “Tankenstein is a mixture of all car parts and just bits from different vehicles,” says the man who is rather crazy about customized automobiles.

Indeed, Shawn’s hot rod carries parts used to on vehicles in the World War 2 and they come complete with bullet holes inflicted on them all the way back. This man loves this rat rod so much that he doesn’t even contemplate selling it.

He says he spent about $2,500 to put it together and has been offered lots more for it. “I’d probably never sell Tankenstien, I have been offered a lot of money for it before but I mean there is only one so if I sell it, what would I have after that? A whole bunch of money? What good is that? There is only one of these so if I sell it what am I gonna do then?”

It looks extremely crazy but like or not,it is one thing you will fall in love with. We are smitten by this one too!
