The Lincoln Nautilus is Ford’s latest take on the mid-size, two-row premium crossover segment. Primarily, it is still the MKX but has gained quite some precious upgrade.

It carries under the hood a 245-hp turbo four-cylinder, but you can opt for a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 delivering 335 horsepower. Both engines have an eight-speed automatic with front-wheel drive; all-wheel drive is optional.

The Nautilus has quite some roomy cabin that is also very functional. The second-low legroom has as much as 39.6 inches and cargo space goes all the way to 68.6 cubic feet.

The Nautilus is tech-packed. The cushy 22-way front seats offer easy to adjust options and a fatigue-reducing massage function. An available 19-speaker Revel audio system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster will keep you indulged.

The standard Sync 3 infotainment system boasts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Active safety equipment forms part of the Nautilus upgrade among them are adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality and a lane-centering system, evasive steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, active park assist as well as a lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist.

Well, the all-new Lincoln Nautilus rides on the same platform as the outgoing MKX midsize crossover. The difference, however, is noticeable first in the name, a new look and several new tricks up its sleeves.
