No One Will Drive The Exquisite and Selfish Lamborghini Egoista
This Car Is Selfish and Has An Ego: It’s The Egoista!
In an article dated December 2018, Lamborghini explains in detail what the Lamborghini Egoista truly is. One of the eye-catching descriptions is the declaration that “it was never intended to be a production car,” but rather a “tribute car for the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini.” This notwithstanding, you only need to give the Egoista one look and you will conclude that it is a car that was designed to amaze, amuse and leave heads turning.
It is thus sad enough that we aren’t likey to see it cruising urban streets ever. The Lamborghini Egoista was designed by Walter De Silva. You will also its jet fighter design to sink in just before you realize that it is a single-seater, further denoting its sporty background.
Turn on the 5.2-liter V10 engine and you will produce a behemoth 600-horsepower, or better still fly away. Though beautiful, cozy and attractive, the Egoista is well preserved at Lambo HQ in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
In the words of De Silva, “This car is made for one person only,” He says, “To allow them to have fun and express their personality to the maximum…It represents hedonism taken to the extreme, it is a car without compromises in a word: egoista (selfish).”
