The new model brings new engine options

Audi did lots of lovely updates on the A4 family at the beginning of this year. Focus now has shifted to the Audi A5, with a host of upgrades on the Coupe, Cabriolet, and Sportback. Audi summarizes these updates by telling us that the A5 is “now more attractive than ever.” We feel this is well accomplished.

Notable changes in this car include readjusted LED headlights that now has a refined shaped, a wider grille that is even flatter, and the air intakes have been enlarged as well. The interior of the coupe version also takes in a different infotainment system. Dropping the center-console-mounted knob controller, this car now prefers a 10.1-inch touchscreen that controls all functions. This means that there is an update on navigation as well as connectivity.

It is reported that Audi has brought a new range of engines that will be granted 48-volt with mild-hybrid assists. The premium of them is a new V6 S5 TDI, taking in 3.0-liter. This one will produce 347 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It takes less than five seconds to climb for zero to 60 seconds.

Ultimately, this is a time when all automakers are putting their best feet on the ground. Competition is perhaps at its best and we are looking forward to seeing a great deal of enticing stuff riding into 2020.
