It’s Time for an EV Revolution

It would seem that the EV car craze is just simmering and there so much to come in the near future and in the long run. There is an influx of startups, some that have made significant contributions already and others that are just trying their hands into the potentially explosive market with new ideas.

Fresco Motors from Norway is among the startups injecting their energies into this new ground with a lot of enthusiasm. The company has launched a new electric sedan aiming to take the enviable Tesla Model S and Model 3 head-on. One of the advantages therein is that Norway is already a heavy consumer of EVs. No other country purchases more EVs per capita like Norway.

The company that the Fresco Reverie will carry an AC induction motor and use 4-speed automatic gearbox with overdrive. This will allow it to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in a mere two seconds. The top speed is capped at 186 mph.

Modern EVs must also consider technological tools and the Reverie aims to take this a step higher with portable batteries. This will be a key selling point for the company and it seems well prepared for it.

They have a valid argument to this angle saying, “It’s common amongst owners of vehicles with internal combustion engines to have jerrycans. Why shouldn’t owners of electric vehicles have the same?”

A revolution is happening in the EV world and it is interesting to keep an eye on it and see how it turns out.
