Envision, Encore, Enclave, And Now Enspire

That Buick has enlisted a number of could-be crossovers slated for production are a good indicator that the company is down serious about its crossover push. This is agreeably a timely and well-advised move at a time when competition in this segment is at an all-time high.

It has a new generation Encore and has already trademarked the Enspire as a moniker for a model to come sometimes later. It follows the Enclave, Encore and the Envision.

This concept was shown to the world in the 2018 Beijing auto show and immediately got tongues rolling. To start with, it showcased an all-electric powertrain that can pull up to 550 horsepower 370-mile (596-kilometer) range.

However, the production version is might as well stick to conventional engines. General Motors is said to be planning an onslaught on the EV front with at least eleven(11) models planned for fully electric powertrain by 2021.

The most interesting bit about the Encore is its appetite to take on the Cadillac XT4. Apparently, there is a lot that the Encore shares in terms of architecture and the company would be keen to borrow heavily from several aspects.

But the Enspire is also a car of its own lifestyle with its very lovely curvy exterior and a sloping roofline that makes it sporty friendly. From this offering, it is clear that GM is keen on filling various slots in between its existing and proposed classes of SUVs.

In other words, the Buick lineage will have been sufficiently catered for in from small, medium, and large SUVs.This is the way to go.
