There Is Still Not As Much Information, But An Upgrade Is In The Making

Even without revealing as much details, the British marque has announced that s John Cooper Works GP concept from 2017 will go into production in 2020.

The existing model boasts of a fully-caged track car with supercar abilities gifted by the splitter and rear wing. It has footprints from both the 2012 Mini JCW GP and 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW GP series. The two sets were limited to only 2,000 examples for mass consumption.

A wider bumper, carbon-fiber parts to help shed some weight as well as wider fenders to make the vehicle a little wider are some of the features in the newly modeled vehicle.

Technical details as to what this car will carry under the hood are still scanty. If its FWD or an AWD model is adopted it would all go very well with its abilities. At the same time, probably the horsepower will also be raised from the 2018 Cooper S’ 189 horsepower.

Either way, the possibility that this car will sell out within no time are rife. It has previously proven to be worth the competition and this time maintaining the trend should not be a big deal.

The company is fast at work to bring another credible outfit named the JWC Knights Edition to the 2018 Los Angeles auto show. It is a special edition that comes in Midnight Black with silver and red offerings.
