You Have To Know This About The 2020 Mini John Cooper Works GP
See how this Mini Cooper model is straight forward
The Mini John Cooper Works (JCW) GP intends to do things just a little differently. It is touted as the highest performing model in Mini’s lineup and plans to debut with a price tag of $44,900 plus $850 delivery.
The unique style car will carry an upgraded turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 306 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with this output going into the front wheels. It is mated to new 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, that is specially integrated to a mechanical differential lock to minimize torque steer.
Besides the Mini Cooper’s aggressive look, it is gifted with flared fenders, outstanding rear fascias, as well as a cool roof spoiler to improve downforce and cooling. This is what makes it different from the standard JCW. The beefier wheel arches come in handy since the GP now has a stiffened suspension that makes it sit inches lower and widens the track. Further tweaks go to the chassis and engine bay, along with the stiffer suspension.
This is a special model GP and the badging outside and inside says as much. There is enhanced sound insulation and just two seats. This car makes use of special 18-inch wheels measured at 20 pounds each, and it can be tuned to any of your favorite colors.
