Can The Epic Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Be Street Legal?

A Romantic Name For A Romantic Car: This Is The Sesto Elemento

That Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is still one of the most outstanding hypercars made in recent times is not even debatable. It has its own place in history and it won it with litle fight.

Powered by a 570 horsepower V10 engine, the Sesto Elemento is made almost entirely from lightweight but very expensive carbon fiber. The body, its wheels and part of the suspension system are made from carbon fiber.

It might interest you to know that the car got its name from the use of carbon fiber for much of the body. The car weighs about 2,200 pounds, which is less than a Honda Fit subcompact.

To paint a clearer picture of the Sesto Elemento, there were only a total of 20 made and all 20 were sold before the first one was finished. The model debuted in 2010 as a concept car that demonstrated the advancement in automobile technology and design, but within a year there was talk about production and the rest is history.

Rocking a top speed of 186 mph, the Sesto can go from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. If we had a way of forcing Lamborgini to make hundreds more of these vehicles, we would whip them to it, for it looks a little selfish to make such a limited edition of such an outstanding mechanical genius.

Notably still, the Sesto Elemento was denied a chance to be street legal. Either way, the legacy lives on!
