Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has waded controversy wisely over the years. He creates it and fights it cleverly. From the success he has had so far with at least six cars from his marquee, it would seem criticism only fuels his ambitions further.

In his characteristic boisterous style, Musk claimed that they were already “146k cybertruck orders so far, with 42% choosing dual, 41% tri & 17% single motor.” What is this vehicular innovation like?

It is touted as a bulletproof vehicle with sharp retro edges and power to boot. According to the company, this car can easily tow away a Ford 150 truck.

But the Cybertruck made a faulty landing at the debut event. When Musk attempted to demonstrate just how hard the windscreen was by hitting it with a metal, it unexpectedly shattered, leading him to exclaim, “Maybe that was a little hard.” He would later add on a tweet. “Guess we have some improvements to make before production.”

Be it as it may, Tesla’s Cybertruck is an ambitious project that sits way above many of its contemporaries. It might have had a faulty start but there is no reason to doubt the possibility of it going the whole mile.

Elon Musk might be possessed by science fiction movies but it is also clear he draws lots of motivation from them. He said that the truck should be available by 2021, with the starting tagged at $39,900.
